Dolphy Cross – family therapist, psychotherapist, conflict resolution specialist, and clinical pastoral educator. Dr. Cross is a specialist in pastoral counseling and has helped many pastors to keep their marriages together. He presently serves the Florida Conference of SDA as senior pastor for the Windermere and Emmanuel SDA Churches in Orlando, Florida and he conducts family seminars nationally and internationally.

Dr. Dolphy Cross was born in St. Ann, Jamaica and is an ordained minister of the Gospel. He received his professional training at West Indies College, now Northern Caribbean University, Andrews University, Trinity Theological Seminary, University of Miami, and Argosy University. Dr. Cross is a family therapist, a psychotherapist, a conflict resolution specialist, and a clinical pastoral educator. He also specializes in pastoral counseling and has helped many pastors to keep their marriages together.
Dr. Cross worked in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Barbados and impacted Trinidad and the entire Eastern Caribbean Islands with his lectures and seminars on family values. He also served as education consultant for Trinity Theological Seminary. Dr. Cross started the New Hope SDA Church in Ft. Lauderdale in 1995 and in May 1996 he became the first clergy person to receive the keys to the city of Lauderhill in Florida for Community Development.
He is the author of the Document on the Paradigm Shift in Evangelism and Church Growth. He successfully used the principles in this document in collaboration with the Holy Spirit to grow the pastoral district he served in Fort Lauderdale from two congregations in 2016 to nine congregations in July 2018. He is the author of “Relationship Restored” which includes “The Basement Technique for Couples Conflict Resolution” He presently serves the Florida Conference of SDA as senior pastor for the Windermere and Emmanuel SDA Churches in Orlando.
Dr. Cross and his wife Dr. Beverly Sterling-Cross are both certified facilitators for Prepare Enrich and conduct family enrichment workshops and seminars nationally and internationally. He believes that humility is power therefore, we all can become powerful people if we remain humble. Phil. 4:13 is one of his favorite texts.
